Good grip and good bite, for a relatively fine #400 grit. Barely visible marks on the blade.
Hard stone, perfect for rewiring a dull blade, or repairing microcracks. The mud is thin. 
Ideal for going over a medium grit #1000 to refine the grit on the blade.
